BUS2017 / MKPF / MSEG - tirggering event

Good morning to all,
 
I need to know when a material document is created so I can do some
additional processing.
 
I have found the Business objects BUS2017 / MKPF / MSEG
 
I choose to work with MSEG because I could attach it to an output type to
trigger my new event.
 
I made a subtype of MSEG ==> ZMSEG and added the event CREATED.
 
I delegated ZMSEG to MSEG in transaction and added the entries to Event
Linkage.  Then I created an output type and assigned MSEG  - CREATED to the
output type.  But the config folks do not want me to have the parameter
Print GR/GI slip defaulted on.  So my output type will not automatically be
proposed so the CREATED event will NOT be triggered.
 
I do not need to be on the item level (MSEG)...  I would rather use MKPF or
BUS2017 but I could not figure out if I made a subtype to MKPF and created
a new event in the Object Type, how I could have the event triggered since
I did not find a way to Link the object to change documents or output type.
 
Can anyone assist in a way to trigger a custom event to MKPF or BUS2017?
