Exclude Workitems from frowarding

Hi Heinz, Not sure if the forwarding not allowed flag is downgradeable =
- you could always ask via OSS. I wouldn't use excluded agents with =
long lists of people - that could get messy and I wouldn't be too =
confident about performance either. If it's a short list that's ok. =
Apart from that I have sometimes added a check to the inbox code if I =
need to exclude certain options - depends on which inbox you are using =
as to how hard this may be.=20

Regards,
Jocelyn.

Hi Jocelyn,

thanks, "forwarding not allowed" - that's exactly the functionality I'm
lookong for. But I have to implement based on Rel. 46B.
Is there any useful way to have this functionality too in Rel 46B ?
Otherwise in the moment my only idee is to deal with excludied agents,
but
I'm not really sure if this is a stable way.

Greetings

Heinz

Hi Heinz,=20
Matthias is right - your best approach is to set the task=20
attributes correctly. =20

In 4.6C and below releases you can set "general forwarding not allowed"
which means you can only forward to other possible agents.
Naturally you need to assign your task to specific possible agents=20
e.g. by activity group/profile generator roles, and not to general =
task.

>From 4.6D there is a new setting "forwarding not allowed" which =
prevents
all forwarding of work items based on that task.=20

Hello Heinz,

the solution may be the flag in the classification of workflow single
step tasks (TS).
In the screen where you can classify a task as a general task there you
can select an option "general forwarding not allowed".

best regards
    Matthias
