As you wrote this is a question that every Workflower has certainly in =
mind
at least once.
 
I agree on all you wrote about SAP MAPI and Exchange connector (I have
implemented both solutions, although I can say that the Exchange
installation doesn't take so much time).
 
Is it so inappropriate to talk about your solution on this mailing-list=
?
I think that everyone is interested on this.

This is a common issue that comes up with Workflow. Managers still need=
 to
approve Workflows even though they rarely log on to SAP.
 
You could use SAP MAPI but in the past some of my clients have found it=
 to
be a
little unstable Also, users were annoyed by the synchronisation process=
 
that
would occur everytime that they would shut down outlook.
 
You could also use Exchange Connector to generate mails and this works =
fine
but
it does require making some changes to your Exchange Server (which most=
 
mail
administrators are not too happy about). Also, users can not execute Wo=
rk
Items
direclty from their email.
 
I have developed an alternative solution to all of the above but it wou=
ld
be
inappropriate to discuss this further in the forum.
