material master workflow

Loren,
You would have to create your own template. You can use Business Object
Bus1001006 and event created. This will happen once the material is =
created.
In our Organization we have only the Engineers create the Material. They
only have Basic data Authorization.
When they create the Basic Data, The Event will be triggered and the
Workflow will be started.
 
We then route different Material master view creation to different
functional group using our HR Org.Structure and
a Look-up table.
 
If you are not in 4.6B, I think you will have to use Business Object
Bus1001. Kindly Check.

Hello everybody,
 
I have been the EDI guy for a couple of years and now I also get to do the
workflow projects. I am a real rookie at workflow - never done one, so any
hand holding or help would be greatly appreciated. The first one I get to =
do
is for material master - create or change. Person A will do some screens
then person B will do some then person C will do some and finally person A
will approve it all. I did not see a template for this. Anyone have any
ideas on how I get started?
