Workflows triggering twice!

You say "it is like the event is being triggered twice, instead of once".
First thing to determine (not sure if you have or not since you use the
phrase "it is like") is whether the event occurs once or twice. That will
determine where to look for the real source of the problem.
 
If there is only one event, start with a check of all binding to that
event. If there is only one you know now where to start digging.

Hi all.
 I am stuck with the following issue...
 
 The background:
 I have a workflow that starts on the creation of a PM Order using
 System-status 'CRTD'.
 The status event/restrictions and type linkage is set up. The link is
active.
 Transaction SWU0 - event simulation shows me that the task will start.
 
 The problem:
 When a PM order is created, the workflow is successfully started, but
TWICE!.
 It is like the event is being triggered twice, instead of once.
 
Workflows that are started with User-statuses seem to be alright.
 Has anyone come across any similar situations?
 Please help.
