Method SOFM-SEND in Workflow

Hi John,
 
The Send method on SOFM will not send to an external mail on its own.
You still need to have SAP Exchange Connector or other utilities to get
the mail 'out of SAP'. SOFM.Send will just send a mail to another SAP
Inbox (now known as Business Workplace).

Has anyone used the object method SOFM-SEND incorporated into a
workflow. I would like the workflow to pick up an existing document from
SAPoffice and send it to an internal or external (internet) address.
However I get an error that the SEND method could not be executed.
Any suggestions on how this could be implemented would be appreciated.
We are on version 46C.
