SendMail Workflow function to non-SAP user

Make sure that your workflow batch user has an email address. I did =
something similar for PM and HR as well and had the same hassle, and =
found that was the problem.

 My question is regarding sending an e-mail from SAP via workflow to a =
non-SAP user.  For example, say in the Plant Maint. module you were =
using a Web front end for employees to enter Maint. notifications and =
upon the notification being completed, deleted, etc. you would like to =
notify the requestor (who is not an SAP user). It seems you should be =
able to send an e-mail based upon Org. object 'Person' that has an =
associated e-mail address in their personnel master, however an error =
normally occurs and the mail is not sent.E-mail notification is working =
fine for SAP defined users and by entering an e-mail address directly =
into a workflow SendMail step, but referring to a Position with a Person =
assigned with valid Personnel record including e-mail address does not =
seem to work. Any direction or hint appreciated, probably something =
