Workflow for Material Master creation

We are about to go live with such a workflow. In our process the Basic Data view is created from a custom ITS transaction. We use the IMG MM settings and custom tables to determine if the material requires other views. If other views are required, we use a custom role and small org structure to determine the possible agents, and a workflow that uses the MM01 transaction to create the views. The actual agent will create 3 views (Purchasing, PO Text, and Accounting 1) in our workflow, but we prototyped a workflow where different views went to different agents. We use a custom method that includes a BDC so that the agent creating the views can actually re-use the data to create similar views (with minor editing) for more than one plant.

Regards,
Dan
