I think this is where your problem lies;
completed workitem * should * be disappearing from the inbox -
if they are not, they're probably still marked as 'in process'.
 
This would also explain why running 'RSWWWIDE' fails to
pick them up when you run the report.
 
Check your workflow config. to ensure that the termination events
for your workflow are being raised;
also check the config. of your WF-BATCH user in SWU3.
 
These are common reasons for workitems failing to complete.
 
I'd be wary of writing your own report to delete them too;
'SWW_WI_DELETE' will only change the status to logically deleted -
plus you need to be sure that you're not selecting items
that are still relevant for processing.
 
Dodgy territory really, which shouldn't be necessary
if your workflow is running properly in the first place.
