User xxxxx can not reserve work item : SAP 40B

I have already experienced exactly the same error message in 40b, and
authorization can be the cause of the problem, but there are possible =
(and
more likely) other causes :
1. Check that the task has a correct agent assignement (e.g. "General =
task")
2. Refresh the organisational environment for each user who has to =
execute
the task :
        1. Login with that user
        2. Refresh org environment with transaction SWUS - start workflow.
 
Normally this should solve your problem.

Check authorisations for the user. Have him/her execute su53 after the =
error
message occurs, this will probably tell you that the workflow user
authorisations are not allocated.

Hi all,
 
 I am developin a workflow in 40B. For some tasks with role
resolutions...Wflow finds the Agents..
but when agent tries to execute the work item ..it gives the message
"User xxxxx can not reserve work item"
 
what is this?
Role resolution is quiet OK.
 
please help!!!
