Send Internet mail from WF

If I understood you first email in point 1, you were able to go to SAP
Workplace and send mails to internet mail addresses?
 
If YES, my guess is your SAPConnect(or sendmail) is configured correctlly.
If I misunderstood, you will have to do a variety of things to get internet
mail sending working, the settings needed from the SAP side are minimal and
can be done from transaction 'SCOT' and 'SM59'.
 
More settings are required on the client side depending on which email
client you are using. As a first step I would suggest that you search the
list server for other messages on this topic. I know that this issue has
been discussed and resolved several times in the past.
 
If you get no joy from that, let us know and I'll dig out more detailed
info on the steps to carry out.

thanks Lola,
when i put my id in WF-BATCH, the workflow doesn't give an error. the
workflow gets  a
status complete.
but i am still not getting the mail in my intranet in-box. should i check
for any other
settings...
