WF Substitutes

Hi Linda,
we had the same problem in our workflows at a television company.
WF does not support chains of substitutions by design.
We managed this by maintaining more then 1 (direct) subtitution for each
person, hoping that at least one of them will be at work.
If still a workitem is not completed because all approvers are out of
office, we send it to the next approver after 2 working days
(escalation).
