of notifying our group (You!) as soon as possible.

If any of the topics below interest you, or if you have another
workflow-oriented topic you would like to present (please be sure to put
Workflow in the session title), please use the URL below to enter your

1. Get Started Session 1
In this session, newcomers to Workflow will see a real-life workflow
application built and implemented. The baseline configuration for the
application (Purchase Requisition Release) will already be done (so know
your release strategies). The presenter will take the standard SAP
Workflow Template for requisition release, make some modifications, and
show how to get it up and running. A must-see.

2. Get Started Session 2
In this second 'Get Started' session, we will utilize the ever-popular
'Notification of Absence' scenario. Attendees will learn how to build a
workflow which includes the use of events for workflow initiation,
container manipulation, the standard 'user decision task' which has many
other uses, use of the object SELFITEM.

3. Workflow and CRM
Customer Relationship Management is everybody's favorite new term. What
has CRM got to do with the old workhorse, Workflow ? Simple! You can't
have adequate (or even outstanding) CRM without using workflow. This
session focuses on some of the more general workflows in use by CRM.
The presenter will identify the workflow templates, review the
functionality, and explore some options for implementing non-standard
workflows in CRM scenarios.

4. MySAP HCM Self Service scenarios
Human Capital Management used to be known as HR and ESS. This product,
which places employee self-service on everybody's desktop, See how to
route requests for training to the manager, and learn how to deal with
rejection (hey, we all do at some time). Find out what other workflow
scenarios can be implemented within the HCM framework.

5. Universal Inbox/Workitem Delivery
There are many options available for workitem delivery. Are all your
users going to be using SAPGui ? Should you go with EasyWeb Inbox or
WebGUI ? Is there a way to merge all the various inboxes (EBP, CRM, HCM)
and should you ? This session will explore the various tried and true
methods of work item delivery. Attendees will benefit by learning what
the rules of thumb are for selecting a specific workitem delivery
strategy.

6. Workflow Start Mechanisms
You have a great idea for a workflow. You've identified your business
objects. One of the big questions you still have to answer is ?How do I
get the workflow started? This session will provide you information on
various workflow start mechanisms. Change documents, user exits, output
control, status management, and business transaction events.

7. Reporting (WIS and homegrown reporting)
You know the information is stored within the workflow system but you
can't find it on a standard workflow report. What are you options?
WIS, custom ABAP, queries. This session will explore various techniques
used by companies for reporting workflow information.

8. HR Org Issues: Peaceful coexistence of workflow and HR in the org
structure
This session discusses how to approach a successful integration between
workflow and HR. Many projects face challenges when integrating HR into
an environment where workflow has already been implemented, or vice
versa. It is important that both teams exist in the same environment
with a peaceful coexistence. This session will give you some techniques
to make that possible.

9. SAP Office and WF, layouts, dynamic columns
The SAP Office environment is very important to Workflow. With most
companies having their own mail system outside SAP, the SAP Office
functionality of SAP is often under utilized and not understood. It
usually is difficult to find expertise within a company and often the
work team members become the resident experts on SAP Office functions.
This session will provide you with techniques and instructions to make
sure you understand how to utilize the functionality of SAP Office.

10. WAPIs
We've all heard about BAPI's and MAPI's but what is a WAPI. Being this
is the workflow group it must be a Workflow API. This session will
provide you with a definition of a WAPI and with some practical uses of
the technique.

11. WF Open Forum (Stump the experts)
In the Workflow Open Forum, a panel of experts will field your questions
regarding workflow development and implementation.
