John, Michael, Stephan,
thank you very much for your solution proposals. =20

John: the idea with the last digit of the invoice no. certainly not =
works,
because at this time the invoice was not yet posted in the SAP. There =
is
only a Workitem to an image-object. =20

But nevertheless:=20
I got sufficient ideas in order to solve the problem. =20

Thank you very much once again! =20

Regards
Jochen

Hi Jochen,

Depending on how even the numbering distribution of scanned invoices =
is, you
may want to assign the department based on the last digit of the =
invoice
number. If the last digit is 0 or 1 in goes to Department A, if 2 =
through 5
it goes to Department B, and so on. You may be able to analyze the =
data on
the invoice to come up with a more meaningful method as well.

Regards,
John

If you don't need numbers like 23.5% you could simply devide by using =
the
last "second" decimal of the creation time. It's not that exact like
Stephan's suggestion, but very easy to implement. You just need a tiny =
bit
of coding in your role and a lean customizing table. Or: extract the =
last
digit with a method and use this information in a standard role. Choose =
the
different responsibilities on this basis.

Michael

Use a custom role to determine which department it goes to, assuming
departments are organisational objects.

The percentage you will have to work out yourself. You could do this =
based
on historical values (e.g. have a history or average number of =
workitems
per
day somewhere in a table), or just give them one by one in turns, and =
then
start skipping people as you go along.. the logic can be as involved as =
you
want it, I think the updated average might be the least complex one..

Stephan

Hi workflow experts,

we are on release 4.6C and want to use a workflow for logistic invoice
verification.
First the invoices are scanned. Subsequently we want to distribute the
Workitems by given percentages among different departments.
E.g. Department A get 20% of the workitems, department B 40%, ...
Is this possible? Maybe with a special kind of forwarding?
