Susie,
Shouldn't your event linkage be between BUS2032 event and the task (not ZBUS)?
Similarly as Virendra says, your task/workflow should only refer to BUS, not ZBUS.

Brent,
Yes, I've checked and the delegation is there. My event linkage between the ZBU2032 and my task is active as well.
Thanks,
Susie

Check that you have delegated the type BUS2032 to ZBUS2032. Transaction SWO6
is where this is done.

Workflowers:
This is probably a pretty basic question, but it has me stumped. I've
created an object ZBU2032 as a subtype of BUS2032 and extended the
attributes because I need a start condition based on the the customer's
classification (KNA1-KUKLA). I've created a single-step task that should be
created when a sales order is created for a specific customer
classification.
When I create the event via SWUE and use the ZBU2032, the task starts
(although the start condition is ignored). When I try to start the task via
VA01, the event raised is the BUS2032 and the task does not start.
How do I connect my ZBU2032 object to the creation of a sales order ?
Thanks much.
