Adhoc_object in a workflow mail

Jean-Baptiste,

you need to distinguish between e-mail messages and work items. Object links
work fine for work items, but not e-mail messages. If you forwarded the
e-mail to a "normal" SMTP e-mail account (like Yahoo mail or Hotmail), what
would you expect to happen when you "open" the attached object?

cheers,
Tomasz

P.S. I'm actually lying a bit -- in the SAP e-mail you can insert object
links (use the SOFM.Attach method), but this is purely SAP functionality
that's lost when the message leaves your SAP box.

Hello Tomasz,

Thanks for your explanation. That seems to be fine with an SOFM link but do
you know how I can add a SAP object (like BUS2001) in the adhoc_object
binding of the send mail step (SELFITEM.Sendtaskdescription method) ? When I
make such a link, the system checks no error but I get nothing in the mail
received in the business worplace whereas I was expecting to have an object
link with BUS2001 in the mail.

Regards

Jean-Baptiste
