SWEL - Missing Receiver ID In Event Trace

Go to transaction PFTC, enter your workflow, and look at the triggering
event tab.  What do you see?  Is it green?

Yes.  I don't think the problem is with the triggering event, since the
workflow definition was generated.  The workitem number (Receiver ID as
defined in SWEL) is missing even though that status saids otherwise.  =
These
workflow definitions have been in production for a while and were =
working
until recently.

have a look at sm58 and see if you get any entries there for your =
dubious
cases.. the behaviour points to a Basis setup problem, so sit down with =
a BC
guy to determine for the times these error occur, what trace there is =
in the
RFC and system/dump logs..=20

Workflowers,
We are experiencing a major problem.  When a triggering event is =
published,
under the event trace (SWEL), we can see that an instance was created =
with
the appropriate receiver type.  However, the workitem is not created
although we know is should be.  Although the event trace shows that an =
event
was published and has a Receiver Type, there is no Receiver ID.  In
addition, a Receiver FM is present for each instance with the status of
'Receiver started correctly'.  Why is the Receiver ID missing?  Has =
anyone
experienced anything similar to this?  It appears to be system-wide and
sporadic.  We are in version 4.6C.
