Sending External (Internet)Mail

Help Guys
 
I setting up my first workflow and need to send an internet mail.
 
So far ive used the wizard and set up some internal mails no problems but each
time I try to set up an internet one it fails. Ive even tried it with a static
address to see if it works but each time I get

I can send internet mail by creating a mail from my inbox no problem its just
from workflow.
 
Have I forgotten to set something up ?
