Object Type vs Business Object

Hi Jihoon Kim,
Provided you can create an event linkage for your object type/event
as normal in your workflow you should be able to use SWB_COND to
add a condition.

Make sure you create the event linkage and activate it first.
Then go to SWB_COND and ask to "Create" a new start condition.
You should then be able to search for the desired event linkage
based on your object type.
Note that when you create your start condition you may need to reactivate
your
event linkage again using SWB_COND (it's a release/sequence of
actions things).

The data model flag shouldn't stop you from creating start conditions.

Thanks for your quick response.

If I display the object type "BUS1001" in the business object
builder (SWO1), the top of the navigator displays
"Business object BUS1001 Material".
But, for object type "VBAK", it displays
"Objet Type VBAK Sales document (Only Use for Optical Archiving)".

I just asked this difference (Business object vs Object type). I found
that the difference beetween them is the existence of Data Model.

And I wanna use object type (not a business object) in SWB_COND
(workflow start condition)

Thanks for your interesting of my question.

Regards,
Jihoon Kim

Hi Mr. Kim,
This is a quick reaction to your message!

As far as my knowledge goes, Object types are those
constructs of a particular business object with
Interfaces,methods,programs
and events attached to them and Business object is referred to as an
instance of the object type.
