In 4.6C, workflow runtime definitions are buffered and refreshed only =
every
night I believe. So, if you transport a workflow definition change and
intend to use the new version immediately, refresh these buffers
(transaction SWU_OBUF).
Also, check out OSS note 0378487 (WF Builder: transported version not =
set to
active).....

I am not sure what you are referring to, but as far as I am aware, as =
long
as a workflow version is active, it will be executed for any new =
instances
starting, irrespective of any repair flag.

Hi Brian,
One of possible reason that your transport with new WF version has no
influence in PRD could be repair status of your WF definition in PRD. =
Please
check in PFTC_DIS: Utilities --> Object Directory Entry that no repair =
flag
was set.
If so (eg. R) it probably means that your Workflow was changed manualy
directly in PRD. Remove the flag and retransport.

I have a WF(46C) that is initiated when an employee has a new =
qualification
added to their training profile.  This WF then waits until the =
qualification
expires and then sends an email to the employee.  I have just made some
modifications to the original WF template and transported it to =
production.
When I look a the log for existing WFs that are "In Process", they =
appear to
be using the OLD version of the template.  I activated the WF in =
production
but they still appear to be using the OLD version when I look at them =
in the
WF log. =20
 
Did I miss something?  Is there any way to get the IN PROCESS work =
items to
use the new vesion of the WF?=20
 
Any help would be appreciated!=20
