Subject: Question about ME32K transaction kicking off workflow after
a sav e
Importance: High
All:
I have copied SAP workflow 20000079 (workflow for release of contract),
copied business object BUS2014. The event is RELEASESTEPCREATED. This
workflow is kicked off once a contract is created with transaction ME31K.
The new workflow works fine. What I am trying to do now is kick off a
workflow when the contract is changed in and saved thru transaction ME32K.
I turned on event logging to determine which event if any was being used
during the save for transaction ME32K. The business object being kicked off
was BUS2012, event CHANGED. I copied the workflow for when a contract is
created and used business object BUS2012 and event CHANGED. The workflow
actually is kicked off, but when I attempt to execute the step in
transaction SWI2_FREQ, I receive the following error: 'Accept' function
cannot be used.
A little more back ground . . . BUS2012 is primarily used for PO
create/change and the number range begins with 4500000123. The number range
for contracts is 4600000123. When I attempted to test the workflow in
transaction SWUS, I entered the contract document number and recieved the
following error: Object does not exist.
I have also checked OSS notes but did not find anything helpful. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. If you would like o discuss this we via
telephone my direct number is (717) 705-9868. Thanks!
