Implementing Generic object services

Hello everyone:
 
Hope someone can give me some hints on how to implement generic object
services.
We have created our own business object (ZBUS1006) that is based on BUS1001.
Whenever I try to display the material workflow from the services icon I get
the message that "No workflows have been worked on this object" even though
that there are a bunch of them.
 
I have tried following some suggestion on publishing the object ( FM:
SWU_OBJECT_PUBLISH), doing some container binding with the BUS1001 and
ZBUS1006 but nothing makes any difference.
