Unless you have huge amounts (thousands) of uncompleted workflows I think
the best thing to do is going through them and cancelling or completing
them and performing archiving/deleting as normal (only those that are
completed or cancelled).

Hello Everyone:

We are looking at possibly deleting/archiving work items in our production
system. This has never been done since 1996 and we have millions of work
items in different statuses. One of the options we are looking at is to
delete/archive all work items from 1996 through 2001 irrespective of the
status. Has anyone undertaken such an effort? I would really appreciate
it
if you could share your experiences.

Thanks,
Jay Deena
