Question for the experts...

Hi Nicole,
A step of type 'Process control' lets you complete/cancel the entire
workflow or just a single step elsewhere in the flow.
You would need to tie this in with a parallel branch with a wait for changed
event, and when that happens, check if it's been closed and cancel the other
item (or entire flow) if that is the case.
Cheers
Mike

Subject: Question for the experts...

Any thoughts on this one?

Here's a scenario: Purchase requisitions are being workflowed for various
levels of approval. Upon a final release, the requisitions are workflowed
to a buyer to be converted into a purchase order. If the requisitioner
happens to close the purchase requisition line item before the buyer
accesses the workflow event (PO) in their inbox, is it possible to
automatically remove the workflow event out of workflow? I'm told that
once the workflow task has been created it cannot be recalled without
manual intervention.

I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for your help.
