Hi Kevin,
Refresh org environment:
Menu option in SAP Office (transaction SO01) /SAP Business Workplace (transaction SBWP).
Button in Transaction SWUS.
"Refresh" button in Transaction SWU_OBUF.

Refresh when changes are made to org plan or org object relationships that you want to use straight away
(buffers are automatically refreshed at midnight system time) including (but not limited to):
* changes in assignment of possible agents to tasks
* changes in assignment of agents to responsibility rules
* changes in org structures that are evaluated by rules
* changes in a user's security that makes them a possible/responsible agent of a task
* assignment of substitutes if you are using the A210 relationship
* new workflow definitions being transported and activated

In production of course you should always set up any org plan data at least the day before you use it
and use the validity period options to say when the change should become effective -that way you
shouldn't need to refresh org environment in production except for emergency changes. Similarly
you should transport new workflow definitions the night before they are to be used.

Subject: Refresh org environment transaction?

What is the transaction to refresh the org environment? When do we need to perform this transaction?
