Role 20000054 resolution does not work.

G'day Weidong,

If your role works in simulate then that suggests that you have set it up
properly. You may not however have set up the binding to the role correctly
within your WF. In terms of runtime debug, you can run either the container
monitor or the WF trace (I usually start them from SWUD). Neither of these
has a very palatable interface but they do allow you to ensure that the
bindings are occurring as you expect. They won't however highlight auth
problems.

When role resolution happens the authority of the previous agent is checked
oddly enough. If the previous agent was WF-BATCH (i.e. the previous step was
background) then there should be no problems as this user should have super
user access. If however the preceding step is dialog, then the previous
agent will have their authority checked and may fail.

There is no good error handling or reporting of this situation. Try running
the process with super users for each step and see what happens. If it
works, then you know you've got an authorisations problem.

Have fun!
Mark

Subject: Role 20000054 resolution does not work.

Hi Guys:

i am a new workflower. These days i am testing the
standard workflow scenario ---"Confirmations variance"
in PP module.

In this case, the standard task TS20000563 use role
20000054 to find the right agent .

I simulate this role,it works fine.

But in the runtime ,it does not work.what is happen?

but when i assign a user to this task directly,it
works.

my question:

(1) Is there a tool can dubug the role resolution in
runtime?

(2) what is the reason for this error?

(3) Can i reassign agent to this workitem when it is
error?how?

thanks in advance!!!
