PO Amendment IDOC to be posted by workflow

Hi All,
 
My client is having one requirement of making sales order change from an
IDOC received via Business connector from his customer. The client does not
want to make these changes without prior approval, he wants to see first
what changes customer has made. How can I read the IDOC and find the
changes? How These changes can be framed in a mail?
