Hi Lola,

Have you got the following in your Notes.ini file?
     .....
     $ObjServerLogLevel=2
     $ObjServerChangeRAWtoTXT=1
     $ObjServerDontAttachBody=1
     .....

This should not attach the .RAW file to your Notes mail as a copy of the
mail body text.

Dom.

Hi Joycelyn,
I believe the only way we could be talking about Lotus Notes Integration is
because there is the 'sendmail' task involved....

Here is the problem:
SELFITEM.SENDTASKDESCRIPTION included in a task definition.
The binding is for mail type 'U' and the email address is like
   xxx.yyy at nnn.com.
Transaction SCOT reveals that mail was sent successfully as RAW file to
   external system.
Lotus notes inbox shows mail received, but mail body is an attachment
(just as you would recieve a word document as an attachment).
Notes.ini file has a parameter which can be swithched on/off so that
received mail body are/not attachments, this was swithched on our Notes
   server
PROBLEM: Mail body still arrives as attachment

I hope this is clearer and someone is able to help.

Regards,
Lola.

Hi Lola,
Do you mean notifications as in the workflow step tab page "Notification"?
This is really not recommended these days. You are better off using a
sendmail (SELFITEM.SENDTASKDESCRIPTION) step and then you won't have that
problem.

Hi,
Notification mail is sent to notes from R/3 workflow. For some reason this
always arrive as attachments in the users in box. We have set the parameter
'ObjectBody' to one in the notes ini file and this didn't help. Does anyone
know what is missing here?

Lola.
