URL Wrapped in Task Description

Hello,
 
I also has this problem of URL in Outlook, and even other mail client.
 
The problem is the text is limited to 132 characters.
The workaround we used were, remove the unecessary information from the URL.
Mandat and language information are not always necessary because usually,
these parameters are already defined in the service (see your ITS
administrator).
An other tips to reduce the URL lenght is to remove some leading zero from
the workitem id : &_WORKITEM.WORKITEMID+5& for retrieving the first 5 zeros.
Of course, this don't work if you define your workitem number range other
than "OOOOOOOOO" and if you have a heavy load system with lots of workitems.
An last chance to reduce this lenght, ask to your administrator to define a
shortcut in the URL, that is replace http://www.its.com/scripts/wgate/bbpwi/
by something shorter like http://direct.its.com (I don't personaly test the
last solution because the other tips were enought).

Hello All.
 
I`ve got a slight (increasingly critical) problem with an embeded URL link
wrapping in a SELFITEM-SENDTASKDESCRIPTION task that I have.
We`re on a 4.6C system and I`ve applied OSS Notes 316748 and 363986.
 
I`ve also attempted
*       to increase the linewidth within the task binding.
*       to switch the editor mode and insert and '=' sign in order to remove
the line break
 
All to no avail.
 
Can anybody please help with this as I am now very close to tearing my hair
out?
