Can the status of the workflow be changed?

  I have a unique problem. Due to a network problem the workitem which wa=
s
executed did not get cleared from the inbox. Upon checking the workflow l=
og,
they still have the status "in process".=0D
But the release to the Purchase order was actually completed. So onw the
workitme doen't get off and doesn't allow to execute as the document is
already released.=0D
=0D
Has anyone faced problem like this before? Is there a wayt o change the
status of the workitems to complete? Or is deleting the workitme the only
option?=0D
