Hi Ronen

Have you checked whether all users have the same structural
authorisations?
Your description sounds very much like a HR-Authorisation problem.
With these authorisations the system unfortunately does not give any
message
saying that you are missing any rights, but just does not show the
HR-Objects for which you do not have the authorisation.

You can check the table T77UA (Transaktion OOSB) in order to see who has
got
which structural authorisations assigned. Check whether the names of
your
users appear in this list and what authorisation objects where assigned.
If
they do not appear in this list, they get the structural authorisations
assigned to the user 'SAP*'.

If you do find entries for your users within this table, their
authorisations need to hold the HR-Objects 'S ' (Positions) and 'O '
(Organisational unit) and 'C ' (Job).

You can also check the structural authorisations of a user with the
transaction RE_RHAUTH00.

Hope this helps.

Subject: adopting a view in TA SBWP and org. management

dear workflow experts,

we want to enable users to view the inboxes of other users that belong
to their org. unit.
this is done in TA SBWP via menu 'settings - workflow settings - adopt
view'

we have created a view in TA SWLV, that uses evaluation path 'BOSSORG'

this works ok only for one of the four managers, although four of them
are defined the same in HR.

let me try to explain a little bit more:

we have 4 identical org units
for each unit there is a creative department that is managed by the
creative manager.
for org.unit 1 the creative manager is YOTAM
for org.unit 2 the creative manager is ALON

user YOTAM can select the users he manages via 'adopt view'
user ALON gets a blank list with only his name when adopting a view.

another thing i noticed:

in TA SBWP, when choosing menu 'settings-workflow
settings-disp.org.assign.'
user YOTAM gets details about his org unit, position and job.
user ALON gets a blank screen

I checked again in HR the org. structure. and both org. units seem
identical.
also I checked the 'relationship' infotypes for each org unit and
position in TA PP01, and found that there is no difference.

when checking the org. units, positions and users in TA PPSM with
evaluation path 'BOSSORG' - i get the same results.

the only thing i can think of now, is that i created the first org. unit
from scratch and copied the other 3 from it.

maybe there is some sort of 'refresh' function or report i should be
using ?

your help is very much appreciated.

best regards
