Triggering a workflow when an FI document is posted.

Hi workflow gurus!
 
I am currently facing the following issue :
 
I need to trigger a workflow every time an A/P invoice is posted. Internet
SAP Help recommends to use the creation of events from the open FI
interface.
However, it looks like this possibility is not available in 40B.
Has anyone an idea about how to create an event when an invoice is posted
without using open interface?
Does the creation of event from open fi interface exist in 40b? If yes, how
to use it?
