Transport of tasks is controlled by an IMG setting using tcode OOCR. In=
4.0b it
is under Personnel Management > Global settings for Personnel Managemen=
t >
Transport > Set up transport connection). The following documentation s=
hould
help.
Set up transport connection
In this step, you specify which type of transport connection you wish t=
o use.
There are three possible options:
Automatic transport connection
No automatic transport connection (that is, automatic transpo=
rt
connection is deactivated)
Transport via object lock
If you decide to use the automatic transport connection, a dialog box a=
lways
appears after objects have been changed or deleted. You can assign the =
change to
a transport request in this dialog box.
If you decide not to use the automatic transport connection, there is n=
o
automatic query. This means that you have transport the changed objects=
yourself. You do so with the report RHMOVE30.
You have to enter the objects to be transported yourself, which means t=
hat you
have to ensure that all changed objects have been transported.
lf you decide to use the object lock option, there is no automatic quer=
y.
However, whenever an object is changed or deleted, the system sets a re=
pair flag
(object lock) in table PLOGI or PLOGI_DEL.
Use the report RHMOVE50 to transport the objects in this case. This rep=
ort
transports all objects with a repair flag and removes the flag when the=
transport has been executed.
Standard settings
In the standard SAP R/3 System, the automatic transport connection is a=
ctive -
the Value abbr. field is blank.
Activities
Specify which type of transport connection you wish to use with the fol=
lowing
entries in the Value abbr. field:
Entry: ' ' (blank) =3D Automatic transport connection
Entry: 'X' =3D No automatic transport connection
Entry: 'T' =3D Transport via object lock

I am a little confused in this area and I was hoping that somebody coul=
d set
me straight.
When I transport a task to another system, the agent assignment (ie. Ge=
neral
task) is not transported. I always end up having to go to the target cl=
ient
and go through each task and set it back to their correct agent assignm=
ent.
Is there something 'special' I have to do to ensure that the agent
assignment is also transported?
Kindest Regards,
Alon
