RSWUWFML versus RSWUWFMLEC ?

Hi David,
The main message is if you are using an EBP system, use
RSWUWFMLEC rather than the standard RSWUWFML.

As well as using the attribute FORWARD_WI - which the EBP user
can set themselves (via "Change attributes" web transaction)
to say whether or not they want email notifications,
it also:

* Takes the email address from the SU01 user master in EBP (which the EBP
user
can maintain themselves through the "Change settings" web transaction

* Builds the hyperlink back to the EBP system so that when a user
receives the email notification they can just click on the hyperlink
to open up a web browser session, go straight to the EBP logon, and
then it takes them straight to the workitem to be executed.

* All emails notifications are sent to the EBP user's email address
not the SAPOffice address - this means with something as simple as an
SMTP connection to a mail server you can send notifications to
whatever inbox they like to work with.

It's true that EBP users do all their work via the web browser but
they are of course SU01 users (i.e. the have a standard user master
in the EBP system) as well - so that when they logon and when the
workitem is executed we have enough
information to check they are a valid agent.

In EBP 3.0, RSWUWFMLEC also allows the user to reply with an email
- i.e. they can work offline to make the accept/reject decision
and send it in later. This does involve scheduling some extra
programs to handle the incoming emails, but it's a significant
new feature you won't want to do without.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

One of the main difference is :
RSWUWFMLEC use attribut "FORWARD_WI" from EBP user's to send the
notification mail directly to the internet mail adress of user.

EBP user are Internet User, EBP is not design to be access from a SapGui,
internet mail is the main way to send notification than SAP inbox mail (used
by RSWUWFML).

Regards.
