PM Breakdown Notification Workflow

Dear Hein,
 
        Thanks for your help. This is how I have done the setup.
 
a) In Transaction SWEC, Created Change Doc. Object (MELDUNG)
    Business Object type -Z_BUS2038, and Event -'BREAKDOWNFLAGISSET'
    Trigger if the field value MSAUS from table QMIH changes from ' ' to
'X'.
 
b) Then in my workflow task I assigned bus.object Z_BUS2038 and triggering
event
    as 'BREAKDOWNFLAGISSET'.   And then Activated the event linkage from
here.
 
I think I now understand better about the check function you were trying to
explain
before. In the mean time I will try that.
