Workflow outbox

Christian,
 
are you sure? Well, it seems that starting up SAP business workplace takes
longer with the number of items in the outbox increasing. But then, there's
probably another reason for this behaviour ...
 
Anyway, is there any means to stop the messages from being created at all?

there is _no_ correlation between the number of started workflows in an
user's outbox and the loading time of business workplace inbox.
