Hi Roger

Try transaction WE40. The versions entered for all process codes should be 2
and not 3. In release 4.6 you will find a customizing entry for this task
under following path:
Basis components --> Basis services --> IDOC-Interface/ EDI --> replace
process technology with business Workflow (exceptions). Read documentation
for this step, it will give you the correct entries needed.

Hope this helps,
Regards

Subject: Inbound IDOC Error Processing EDI\ALE

We completed the workflow config for EDI in our development box over a year
ago. We are now ready to start using inbound EDI in our production
environment. Unfortunately, the with lapse of time and changing personnel a
piece of the config is missing. Any assistance is truely appreciated.

Standard task "TS00008068 ALE/EDI: Error handling (inbound)" has been
assigned to a user within an active org unit. When an inbound IDOC
containing an error is processed, the workflow task is not triggered.

In our development box the process works perfectly. The only difference
found is in table TEDE5 "EDI Process codes for error handling". In our dev
box the "process type" entry for process code "EDII" is TS00008068. In our
Quality system the entry is "EDI_INPPRC". The version is also 3 instead of
2.

I was successfully able to generate the workflow by replacing the value for
TEDE5-EVENTN and TEDE5-INVERS while debugging the inbound program..

Am I missing an OSS note or a bit of config? If any one knows the note
number or t-code I will be forever grateful.
