forwarding work items

Hi,

We have also experienced somewhat simillar problems as that described by
Brian.
In our scenairo, we have set up a manual selection of agent for the
subsequent task using standard BO WF_TASK with the method
ALLAGENTSOFTASKGETANDDISPATCH, set up to advance in dialog. The problem is
that this works ok 30% of the time and at other times the step does not
advance in dialog and just gets sent to the inbox of its designated agent
with an error status. This development is being done in a 4.5b environment.

Has anyone out there successfuly implemented the earlyarchiving scenairo
with/or the manual agent forwarding functionality who could give us some
goood pointers.

Cheers,

We have not setup any substitutions in our work process. We even confirmed
that
these specific users were not accidentally setup with substitution.

Hello Brian,

It might be useful to investigate if there are any active substutions. Of
course, the intended user has to be a possible agent for the task as well.

In one of our 4.5b systems, we have found were a user forwards a work item
to
one person, but it ends up being forwarded to someone completely different.
When you look at the workflow logs, it shows that the work item was
forwarded to
the intended recipient, but for whatever reason, it ends up in someone
else's
inbox.

This does not happen 100% of the time for any user, sometimes it works.
This
also has occurred for multiple users, not just a single one.

What could have caused this?

Thanks,
Brian Bennings
