Just to know if it is possible

Hi Guys/Girls,
  I was looking at the SAP inbox, whne I realised that Author field is
empty for workitems, but has the originator in notifications. We are in
SAP Ver 4.6B. My questions is is there a way to see the Initiator of the
workflow as the Author in SAP inbox?
