Workflow initiation from event

Hi Robert,
 
I had a similar problem recently (4.6C) and discovered the cause was the RFC
User in the Workflow RFC destination, had not been set up correctly.
 
The transaction is SWU3
Workflow RFC destination configured completely

Hi,
I'm currently working on a 4.6D system in HR, trying to initiate a workflow
from the amendment of address infotype.
The event is being created, but the workflow is not starting. If I create
the event manually the workflow runs correctly.
Things I have checked:
Containers and binding look fine
Linkage looks O.K.
Workflow is generated OK
Org assignment refreshed
Object Keys are the same for the manual event and the triggered event.
workflow is consistent
 
Has anybody had a similar  problem. If so I would appreciate some pointers
as to the fix.
