object type is not released...

Hi Michael,
I've released standard SAP business objects before (without changing
them in any other way) for similar reasons and it hasn't caused any problems
in any
system I've ever dealt with.  It's safest to do the release from the
initial screen of the business object builder - that way you can't
accidentally change anything else.
 
Actually in a 4.6C system you should find that as long as the busines type
is in "implemented" status you are actually ok for workflow instantiation
so try it first before you bother to change it.

hello out there!
 
i'd like to use the object type bus1006 (businesspartner) which is not
released. i encountered the following problems:
 
1. using the delegated zbus1006 gave me strange errors (hotpackage level
is: sapka46c09, sapkh46c06, sapkb46c09, sapke46c06, banking 462_10)
2. i'm not able to release the delegation type because bus1006 is not
release (makes sense, but now?)
3. doku clearly says, that business types that are not released can't be
instantiated within workflows
4. releasing bus1006 means to modify
 
every suggestion is highly appreciated!
