Express workitems

Hi workflowers,
 
It is about expresse workitems in your inbox.
When you have logon in SAP and a new (expresse) workitem is performed, a
pop up view appears with the message that a new workitem is in your
workflow inbox with priority express. That's oke.
But when you are not in SAP and an express workitem is made by WF-BATCH,
you logon in SAP then no pop up view appears with message of express
workitem!
 
Is anybody familiar with this problem? Is this a parameter or
customizing setting?
