Subtype attribute

You need to define a variable of the attribute and then type swc_get prop=
erty self 'attributename' variable.
 
I hope this makes sense.

Hi,
 
   I have created a subtype for BUS2089 ( trip) and created an
attribute. I could use this new attribute without any problem.
 
   Within this new attribute, when I refer to get the values of
an attribute of super type using macro SWC_GET_ELEMENT
CONTAINER, the values are not returned.
 
   I would appreciate any help or information from someone who
has come across similar situation.
