Broken URL for B2B text via Microsoft Outlook: HELP!!

The following is taken from an earlier e-mail on the list from Peter Roehlen
(Re: Sending a Link in an email). It sounds like the statement about
including the "<" and ">" might help with your problem

Note that the "<" and ">" characters are important - this allows Outlook to
resolve the whole path/filename as a link even though there are spaces in

Hello Everyone.
 
I have set up workflow on B2B for shopping basket
approval. It works great via normal B2B on the web.
 
When connecting an approvers Office Inbox to Microsoft
Outlook, you receive a URl in the text description,
which points you to the client & work item, the
complete URL however is not read in Outlook. This is
due to Microsoft Outlook
interpreting the workitem description as 3 lines of
text and not as 1 continuous
url. See example below. Outlook does not include line
3 in the URL.
 
To execute the work item, click the following URL:
 
http://172.16.30.21:81/scripts/wgate//bbpwi/!?WI=
 
000000070628&~language=EN&~client=390
 
If I execute this URL from Outlook, I get the B2B
logon screen, but after logon on, I get an error
message about workitem 00000000 not being valid. This
is because line 3 above is not seen by Outlook as part
of the URl. The task is TS10008126.
 
Any suggestions for fixing this problem will be
greatly appreciated.
