Pending workflows when deleting the Org structure

Hi Isabella,
 
the technical solution depends a bit on the release you are using. There is
an administration transaction in younger releases (SWUF) that includes the
item "Workitems with no assignment" or similar). That would help. If this
is not the case you could have a look if there is a report or function
module performing this.
 
>From the result list you could then forward the items to new agents.

Hi
We have had to delete the org structure in production and I need to somehow
refresh/forward the existing workitems (those assigned to positions that
now
no longer exist) to the correct users.   The main problem is that the
workitems are not in error status so I cannot restart or forward?!  Has
anyone tackled this problem before?
