Hi Isabelle,
 
there is a host of information about translation in Workflow in the Online documentation. Just search for "translation" or "language" or similar terms in the workflow documentation. Especially, have a look at the Extras.. Translation menu in the workflow definition. Also, there are some OSS notes.
 
In addition, I have looked through my folders regarding this issue, and I am sending you in a separate mail some postings from Alan @ SAP and other people who have had issues with this.

Hi
I am trying to find a way to set up work item and decision task texts in 2
languages. (English and French)  The long descriptions for the work item
work perfectly.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
