We also do this differently with Statoil. We wrap up the workitem info =
with a
batch program, run 4 times an hour, of our own brand as attachments to =
the mail
and send it with SAP Connect and RSCONN01 via SMTP to a Domino mail-in =
database.
A programmed agent maps the SAP USERS of workitems to entries in Domino=
 Name and
Adress Book, and rerouts them as Domino mails to the recipients. Then w=
e
havealso modified the mail template in Notes to enable remote log from =
Notes via
RFC (LSX) to SAP R3. This works well for more than 12000 users (and po=
tential
receivers of workflow jobs).

I am working on the same thing.
I have been looking at another way to do this. I am not sure which is
best. (I am on version 4.6B)

In transaction SO16, one of the tabs is "Mail System Group" . I've changed
it to "Send to User's Home Address".
In address management you can set the user's default communication type
(home address) to Internet.

I was looking for a way to set the default communication type for all
user's to internet.

Subject: Workflow notification via e-mail

Hi Everyone

We have setup the internet gateway and OSS note 131795 to allow e-mail
notification of work items from workflow to the users e-mail client.

My question is concerning setting up of the auto - forwarding for the
users. Under transaction SO36 it is possible for an administrator to set
the auto forward up for a user id, but there seems to be no easy way for
them to remove it.

Can anyone remember if there is an easy way for an adminstrator to remove
an auto forwarding setting,if for example they make a typo when setting it.

I know you can login as the user and remove it, and that SO36 will not
allow you to overwrite an auto forwarding entry if it allready exists and
is active. So does anyone have any ideas on how we would allow an
administrator to change this?

We are on 3.1I.
regards Barry
