Eric,

this OSS note refers to the OTF format that was formerly used for outboun=
d
documents, i.e. documents created by SAPScript. OTF has been replaced wit=
h
PDF a couple of years ago.

For print lists, ArchiveLink always used the ALF format that can be
displayed in the ArchiveLink Viewer up to R/3 Release 4.0. Since 4.5, the
SAPgui can handle ALF itself, hence no further front-end component needed
for displaying print lists. There is no standard way to create PDF files =
out
of print lists...

Betreff: ArchiveLink : 3.1i, is it possible to archive print lists in
PDF format ?

Bonjour,

In OSS note 72382 ("Archiving outbound documents with PDF") it's said : "=
Via
a simple setting in the SAP ArchiveLink Monitor, the creation of PDF
documents can be activated and desactivited : ... Further settings are no=
t
required during archiving."
But it doesn't work... I use document type : "D01" and document class
"ALF".. Do i have to take another document type or change the class to "P=
DF"
?
Or simply the format for the print lists is only "ALF"...

Thanks in advance,
Eric
