Hi Suhas,

I am not sure I understand exactly, but
1)
if I were you I would create another characteristic for the classification.
This characteristic should be related to the requisitioner "name of person who
created the requisitioner", (check table ceban and doublecheck with table eban
for reference), and the name of the field should be afnam.
Now you can list your requisitioner a,b,c and then link the relevant release
code to the agent D in OMGQ-workflow.

2)
no idea, never had this problem

3)
create the element requisitioner in the task container which send the workitem
to the approver.
pass the wf_initiator of the workflow container to requisitioner of the task
container mentioned above.
it should be available now.

hope this help

marco

Subject: Purchase requistion release Workflow

Hi Workflow specialists,

We are implementing standard workflow in MM-PUR module, using SAP's WF
template ws000038 for item wise release of Purchase requisitions.
I find following problems: Release strategies with classification has been
configured based on Plant, cost center and $ value of an item.

1. In case of multiple approvers, it becomes diificult to put "OR" logic in
release pre-requisites. (This is more of MM config issue)
2. Workitem doesnot get removed once one of the approvers releases the
requisition item.
3. At workitem Line, how to get username who created & executed that item ?

To explain, if A,B,C are at the same level working in same cost center with
same $ value authority (and we donot have further identification to
determine exact approver),
and D is their Manager.

How to ensure that workitem for D is created when one of them (A/B/C)
approves the item?

And,

When A approves the item, workitem should get removed from B and C's inbox.
This should work as standard functionality as per documentation but seems to
be bug and no OSS note is available to correct this.

Has anyone encountered this earlier? We are on 4.6B with support pack level
13.

It would be greathelp if you can suggest something to overcome these
issues.

Thanks,

Suhas
MM- Consultant
