status after executing a work item

Hi Brian

User decision tasks cater for this by default. In dialog methods you have to
cater for this by coding an EXIT_CANCELLED statement (if you know that the
user has cancelled) or if you can't determine that the user has cancelled
place a "complete confirmation" step on the task which asks the user whether
they want to keep the work item in their inbox.

Cheers

Subject: status after executing a work item

In a 3.0f client, after executing and subsequently canceling a work item
(TS7869), the work item status is changed to COMPLETE. However, everywhere
else
I tested this (3.0f and 4.5b), including a different client in the same box
mentioned above, the status changes to IN PROCESS.

Is this a setting somewhere? We want the ability to have the work item
remain
active if someone cancels out.

The message that is displayed, saying that the status has been changed to
COMPLETE (Message number WL753), indicates that after a work item is
executed,
its processing status can be the following:

1. In Process
2. Executed
3. Completed
4. Error

Thanks,
Brian
